Guided Learning
Guided Learning is a module from my college that encouraged me to pick a topic, ideate a goal and work towards it.

I've decided to focus on game development and on what makes a video game replayable. Here I show my project proposals, learning contract and learning logs I've created in my journey.

Follow me on my journey to understand this topic and develop a game with a high replayability rate.
You can find my reflection on the adventure I had throughout my 3rd semester down below.
Initial Project Proposal
This is my initial project proposal that i had submitted before starting guided learning as a subject for my diploma.
Learning Contract
This is my learning contract, here I have made a schedule that I will adhere to during my learning journey and achieve the deliverables.
Refined Project Proposal
This is my refined project proposal that I had come up with after meeting my learning facilitator and understanding more about the subject
Learning Log
This is a log of the consultation I've had with my learning facilitator and what I've done to achieve the objective of this project.
Guided Learning was a fascinating and memorable journey for me. Collaborating with my learning facilitator to ensure that the project was heading in the right direction.

During this journey, I researched what makes a video game replayable, and I planned out tasks that I needed to achieve to complete the project on time. My initial goal was to ensure that I performed every assignment on time; considering that I needed to study and work on my other subjects, you could guess how that went.

Thankfully, I could achieve most of my goals by the end of the semester and publish a working video game on an online video game market. I feel very accomplished that I managed to make a video game that shows elements of high replayability given the time for its development.

The development didn't go as smoothly as I had initially planned because I failed to account for the time I would need to focus on my other school projects.

I feel that since it was my first time developing a game from scratch, I didn't know what to expect when I made the schedule for my learning journey.

I believe that my time management skills have increased considerably since the start of this journey, as I achieved more in the second half. If I had the chance to redo this project from scratch, I would organize the tasks I need to complete weekly based on how crucial it is to the development of the project instead of what "sounds cooler".
